In several small focus groups I have participated in that included both men and women of varying ages and back- grounds, discussions indicate that sex for the man is par- amount. To encapsulate the thrust of those discussions here, for most men, on a scale of 1 to 10—with 10 being want it all the time, in every possible way always—sex would probably score an 11.
If sex is that important to a man then I would like to state categorically that intimacy is double these exaggerated statistics to a woman, scoring way over 20 on the 1–10 relationship scale (with 10 being: want to be inti- mate, crave, need, desperately need intimacy).
